Not convinced my new TRVs are any good

The 2 radiators are new column style ones. They came with a spring type thing that could be inserted into the bottom of the rad but after a call to the supplier they said I didn't need to insert them.

Not convinced my new TRVs are any good

Yep. Installed to instructions both on the flow. I noticed that the pin inside the TRV doesn't move up or down very much but that's probably the way they were manufactured.

Not convinced my new TRVs are any good

That's my point. The room is freezing because the radiators are warm rather than hot.

Not convinced my new TRVs are any good

I installed 2 sets of TRVs on my radiators in the front room but not convinced they make the radiators as hot as they could be if they were fitted with ordinary valves. They are set to the hottest position. Any clues?

I want to put a small kick in these pipes to bring them out more but when I put a 15mm spring...

    Lux Heat Column Radiators?

I'm contemplating treating the front room to some aluminium column rads. Looking on the justradiators site there's 1 that fits the bill at nearly 2 metres long. A company called Lux Heat makes the rad I'm interested in. Anyone heard of this make and are they ok?
