    Honestly don't think it's your stoptap at all... Going to be a tap cartridge on one of your taps. Do you have any lever taps, 1/4 turn...

    Sounds about right as long as it isn't over a massive distance. (Waste pipe). Could be wrong but 70mm sounds excessive.

    Well a deepseal trap would be better 75mm. Or you could just fit a hep20 waterless trap. I tend to just use artic spray freezer...
