This nut is ring to the extent it cant be tighten anymore and is leaking oil. Can problems arise if a helicoil is used to fix it and install a new bleed nut? If a new pump is needed, is it expensive and difficult to install.
 
The trouble with oil pumps is they need setting up, unless you can also afford that equipment and subsequent training in how to use it, you will probably find it cheaper to get an oil engineer in.
 
Probably needs a new aluminium washer on it. If you know an oil engineer, they will no doubt have plenty of old pumps that have decent washer. Riello oil pump is too expensive to replace for such a minor thing. Usually the washer gets damaged if someone frequently runs out of oil and uses that nut to bleed air, or has just over tightened the nut. Some idiots even manage to lose the washer.
 
if its an alloy plug, try to change it for a steel one or replace the washer

No, its not the washer. This stays on the nut.

It is nearly certain the washer. It is a separate part. I see that happening often. But I have seen the threads on the nut gone once on a job somebody had horsed it too tight.
New nut & washer should do the job.

You might be right. At closer inspection of the nut, one of the threads looks off and the washer doesnt look to great either. Took a pic but phone not the greatest! As for the washer, it wont even come off. Will the plumbers merchants sell this nut with washer ?
 
highly unlikely. when was it last serviced, looks a while ago judging by the rust build up. now would be the time to get it serviced and the technician can sort the leak at the same time.

Can they be bought online, if so size are they? It was serviced last year

I scrap plenty of Riello pumps and have those bolts & washers.
But your service engineer should also have plenty
