Hi I have one of the above, pretty old now, but have lost the instructions and the online versions I have found don't show the symbol I'm interested in. There's the small flame in the top right-hand corner, which appears when it's calling for heat but what does the thermometer below that signify or is it a permanent feature of the display which I've forgotten about? Thanks.
 
OK, I now realize it was a stupid question and it just indicates it's in temperature mode. :-{ Why it's neccesary, when the display is obviously in degrees I have no idea !
