A customer of mine has recently had trouble with a Stuart Turner Monsoon twin positive 3 bar pump. After going backwards and forwards with pump assist and a few parts later I finally got the pump working again. Now every now and it won't turn off. After a few attempts I finally got in touch with an approved Stuart Turner engineer who tells me it's most probably because the hot water is over 70 degrees which has deformed the brass that holds the magnetic.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible or if they have ever had it

What is the hot water temp ?

Not checked it as yet but as its not got a cylinder stat on the hot water cylinder most probably somewhere near boiler temp. And as that is up on max most probably well over 70

Gravity hot water system (heating) ??

Should have a cylinder stat

Any port valves / type of system
