We recently had a loft conversion of which our system now constently looses pressure? I have to fill up the system daily. We also have a very old boiler (Worcester 28i) that I'm thinking of replacing but trying to hold off a little due to costs.

Additionally our new radiators in the loft take ages to warm up thus effecting the temp regulation of the house. I blead them as much as possible because some radiators around the house sound like they are losing water or filling up each time, but they seem full? However I can't seem to see any sign of leakage anywhere..

Could it be our heating system or boiler I have no idea?

Any advise would be great thanks?
 
Get the heating engineer back who installed the rads in the loft
 
Firstly, is your boiler pressure relief discharging system water at occasionally when heating running? Usually a 15mm copper pipe through the outer wall from boiler, if you don't know. You need a gas engineer if boiler needs investigated
If the pressure drops in the system very low, then the highest rads will not heat well.
But if this all started when you had the loft converted, you should contact the plumber who did the new rads.
 
If you are topping It up daily then you have a major problem if you cant see any water marks then it could be under the ground floor, have you checked the safety discharge pipe on the outside ? you say an old 28i, is this the non condensing model ??

Finally got the plumber round who worked on it round.

Seems out had something to do with the pressure info the air bag inside. It's working okay for now.
