Not too clued up on domestic control systems, so was wanting a bit of advice,

Potterton EP2001 programmer, CH & HW
MID postion valve
Honeywell T6360 room stat

I've got no power coming into their room stat
The geezer has replaced the stat but didn't make a difference. Hence calling me.

Hot water works fine,
I've belled the wires from stat to wiring center and all have continuity.

Can't seem to get a voltage reading out of the top of programmer when Heating is on and it is coming up with random lines on the display.
Oh and the custard put a link between white and orange wires for mid position valve and heating worked constant (no control on thermostat)

I'll attach pictures

I am thinking it's the programmer at fault as I've checked the wiring and terminals and all is good everywhere.

pop the prog off and insert a link wire from mains in to heating on

if that works progs at fault

but the screens gone as its suppose to show the time
