Hi guys. This may sound odd but I need to know how (if its possible) to know where the water flushes on a toilet.

Following bowel cancer I now have an abdominal stoma - so when i sit on a toliet i basically empty my bag, the content of which ends on the front of the inside of the toilet.

Some toilets flush with a lot of water down the centre of the front inside of the toliet - removing what needs to go. But some seem to come more sideways missing the front.

As such, having a tolet that flushes properly for me would be a big help.

I would be very gratfel for any suggestions.

Sounds like you need an old school toilet (non eco ones)

Proper 7-9l flushes

The rimless toilets seem to do a whole bowl flush
Maybe a Roca rimless toilet or ideal standard aqua blade rimless toilet.

I was just thinking rimless as well , sorry never seen one work , I have one to fit in a few weeks , mainly for Ladies is what I have been told ..

Working on one now that has the best all round rim flush including front & back that I've seen for some time.
The markings on it is Jade and sani nusa. (one word)

Avoid the Ideal Standard Alto - it seems not to flush the front very much, and nearly misses the bits about a quarter of the way back from the front.

Thanks guys - I'll look into those. Im not bothered about all rim flush - just the front centre

Have you seen those hand held bidet spray things? I'm not sure of their official name and I've only seen them installed outside the UK but it might work for your application and it might work out easier and cheaper than a complete toilet replacement.

Can't sorry marvo as a toilet is a category 5 back flow risk

(You could put the spray head in the bowl water and it could back siphon)

Lol, I guess that's why I've never seen them in the UK.

Is there no way to make one compliant? Quadruple check-valve or something :)

Yes there is

Needs to be fed from its own supply tank and then pumped as there not designed for gravity

I know this may sound a bit daft but, have you considered sitting on the toilet, facing the cistern?
A bit tricky but, at least you would be able to empty the stomer directly into the water.
