hello
its several years since i needed to post on here. everone was very helpful in the past. this one has me stuck...

re above photos..customer wants a bathroom refurb. has anyone seen one of these cast iron pan connectors. can anyone tell me what the cast iron connection to the pan is likely to lead to under the floor, or if anyone has worked on something similar, what happened.
whats really weird is the house has no visible soil vent pipe. as you can see there is a single chimney with a cowled pipe on the left. all the properties on the road are the same. could this be a shared soil pipe/vent ? so its not just that the property on the right have had theirs removed.

thanks in advance

Engineer has installed several boilers for me. All the condensate pipes have been connected externally into soil stack or rain water downpipe. In each case he just drilled a hole in the pipe, and stuck the condensate in the side, smeared glue everywhere. No boss, or branch. Is this allowed, is...

Hi all, We've got a toilet that's been leaking due to a faulty seal with the pan connector. We've had a plumber in to replace the pan connector, but it hasn't done anything to fix the leak (and has cost us over £200). The plumber has told us that it can't be fixed due to the height of the old...
