This is a 1st for me. Usually flexi's connecting a hob.

Called to a smell of gas...

Normally cut the upstand off and use a flat face washer
 
It's track pipe so that is fine. It is the compression fitting onto a flat faces washer fitting.

You Can file the threads flat though
 
dont see many bent tap connectors, cost more than a st elbow and nut and olive.

did it have the barrier between the top draw and hob underside? the number of kitchen fitters that hate me when i insist on the barrier being fitted is getting quite high.

Can't say I have ever seen a barrier fitted, didn't know there was such a thing

Hi all Noticed bad smell in my drain out side put my hand down and it unclogged it for now however I checked my sewer drain and after flushing my toilet a good few times nothing is going to the sewer so don't know is there a blockage or what way it works many thanks and advice would be grateful

Hi, I have an old steel water mains pipe (approx 45mm) that I need to connect to a new pehd water mains (25mm). I can't get at it to create a new thread so what's the best way of connecting the two? Cheers, Peter

I want to reconnect some outbuildings to an existing water supply. The supply pipe is old 22mm MDPE and buried for a fair distance so not going to dig it up and replace it šŸ˜¬. Question is can I use normal 22mm plumbing push-fit connectors to make the connection as finding 22mm MDPE fittings...
