Got a lead from Vaillant
Was all excited thinking a nice boiler swap, but I can guess what they are trying to get
 
Haha, yep sounds like they want you to sign it off and correct the leak.
Noted that reached you at 11.35pm as well!

I had one the other day where a new boiler and unvented had been fitted. He wanted me to fit a nest and wire the boiler/controls and cylinder in at the same time. :rolleyes::rolleyes: Fat chance of that happening. I’m not that kind of engineer.
 
After a few emails back and forward
They have had a house renovated and the builder ran away, builders plumber finished off the job.
They want it checked over to make sure its safe.

I offered a gas safety check at £70 and quote to fix any issues, but they want me to go round and survey the job and quote to sort it out:D

Recently had a Viessmann Vitodens combi boiler installed, quite often when the adjacent cold mixer tap is opened the boiler starts for a few seconds! Can anyone tell me what is causing this? And how to cure?
