builder
C++Builder is a rapid application development (RAD) environment, originally developed by Borland and as of 2009 owned by Embarcadero Technologies (a subsidiary of Idera), for writing programs in the C++ programming language currently targeting Windows (both IA-32 and x64), iOS and for several releases, macOS and Android (still supported, but only Android 32-bit apps.) C++Builder combines the Visual Component Library and IDE written in Object Pascal with multiple C++ compilers. Most components developed in Delphi can be used in C++Builder with no or little modification, although the reverse is not true, but this constraint is valid only for source code.
Binary code generated by Delphi can easily be linked to binary code generated by C++Builder and vice versa to generate an executable written in both Object Pascal and C++.
With this approach, C++ can be called from Object Pascal and vice versa. Since both Delphi and C++ use the same back end linker, the debugger can single step from Delphi code into C++ transparently.
C++Builder includes tools that allow drag-and-drop visual development, making programming easier by incorporating a WYSIWYG graphical user interface builder.
My boiler is a Potterton Puma 80. Its old but very well maintained and was working perfectly before my builder modified my central heating system.
I contracted a builder to build a small extension to my home. During the extension work the builder’s plumbing guy fitted two motorised valves...
Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone can help...
We have recently redone our property and there is a new boiler and flue. The flue enters the ceiling above the boiler and is hidden from view (above a bathroom) until it exits through the wall.
We have tried to get a gas certificate but the...

Hi Guys,
Ive been in the game for 15 years now and would like to know others opinions on a matter:
Basically is there any benefit from running 22mm main into combi and 22mm pipe out to all outlets.
The way i see it is even if you have 30lpm on incoming main then combi will reduce down to its...
Hi all,
I hope you can help me on behalf of a friend who has been without heating in her old stone building for five days now!
Basically, her builder has installed the wrong boiler or something. She needs to get hold of a union for a U16 meter to a 35mm pipe. Does that make sense???
Fitted boiler at job last year. Customer rang as meter had been moved and wanted to be reconnected. Hob had been fitted a few months ago by her 'handyman/builder'
Hope your all having a fantastic week!
Hi all, first ever forum and thread so go easy.
My question is,
i was looking to join the my builder site and it asks plumbing related questions before it lets you join.
I've been a plumber 20 years and it asked what should be above a stopcock when entering the building.
Bonding? Sign? car...
My mains water pipe comes in under the floor in the centre of my house. ( where the old kitchen used to be). I have built a new kitchen 5m to the left of this and a new utility room 5m to the right of this point. My problem is this..... If I can only have one stopcock this means I will have to...
Morning chaps
A local builder I do the odd plumbing job for said he used MyBuilder quite a bit to take on bits and pieces in quiet spots.
All you do is show interest in job leads that get posted - If the customer likes the look of your profile/reviews they shortlist you. Then you "should" get...
My son recently moved into a new house. He got home from a weekend away to find water all over the floor of his cloakroom but could see no obvious source of the water.
After making 3 holes in the wall the plumber came to the conclusion that even though the sink tap had not been left on, so no...
Hi please advise

We now have two stopcocks in the house.
Due to water pressure we have to run a new pipe to house and due to two stopcock issue we have to rip up the floor and lay new pipes or we lose water to it as the pipes are concreted in and...

Hi, our plumber has recently invoiced us for 9.5 days to fix a new boiler and first fix a downstairs shower room and utility room, and fit 3 radiators. It seems like a lot to me and all the builders on site have said the same thing. Basically the job was as follows:
remove old boiler

Hi Guys,

My underfloor heating is set at 21 on the stat but the floor area feels cold to touch. I was expecting to feel a little warmth from it. I have since discovered that my builder has laid a 30sqm pack over a 50sqm area. Is this as bad as it sounds? Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm looking for some advice as I'm worried my builder / plumber are going to leave me with inadequate plumbing / hot water at the end of a building job. Bear with me as I'm not sure exactly what info to provide so hopefully what I've said below will make sense.
