I sent off a water sample to get tested but not heard anything from them even after emailing a few times.
Can anyone recommend anywhere else that can test water sample from central heating ?
Morning,
We have a Vokera Boiler which is roughly 14 years old. In the past year it has failed nearly every month and the last engineer from British Gas said that nearly every part had been replaced including a new board etc...
Last week we had to keep resetting the boiler as we had no water...

Have been asked to look at powerflush ing a boiler and system.
The boiler is 10 years old and thinking what's the point !!
If it was a car you'd probably bin it and manufacturers tend to walk away from boilers of that age.
Would you take this job on ?
With a power flush adding minimum £150-250 to a boiler install and the time needed, I sometimes think i'm one of a few giving the system a full power flush. If your fitting a budget boiler with a one year guarantee why would you worry.
Before I had my own machine I used to hook the system up to...

Powerflush carried out then rads were worse.
Most not...

I’m thinking of investing in a new powerflush machine this year, mine is over ten years old now and making a racket, what machine do you recommend I do have a magnaclense attached to to machine at the moment but I’m wondering if a machine with a filter built in would be better?
What...

Morning all. Hopefully somebody knows the answer to this. But all I can Find is that you have to have a special qualification to work on the gas side. Does anybody know where I would stand power flushing a radiator circuit on a boiler that also heats a private swimming pool in a domestic...
Can anyone tell me what this phrase means on an invoice? I've just had a new condensing boiler installed to replace a combi that was 21 years old. Is the work below enough? (The engineer said he was doing a powerflush - is that what this is? Or should I be worried?)...

Evening guys,
I am starting to get some business for my flushing kit, could anyone assist with a link to a contract / disclaimer / literature I can use for my customers please? May not be in the correct place for this advice so I apologise in advance.
Many thanks
I'm sat here bored staring at my flush machine doing its business and got wondering. My old company used to install a new boiler then flush. My current one flushes then installs the boiler. I understand the logic of my new one but what about all the flux from installing new pipework? Surely...
