save time
In baseball, a save (abbreviated SV or S) is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain prescribed circumstances. Most commonly a pitcher earns a save by entering in the ninth inning of a game in which his team is winning by three or fewer runs and finishing the game by pitching one inning without losing the lead. The number of saves or percentage of save opportunities successfully converted are oft-cited statistics of relief pitchers, particularly those in the closer role. The save statistic was created by journalist Jerome Holtzman in 1959 to "measure the effectiveness of relief pitchers" and was adopted as an official MLB statistic in 1969. The save has been retroactively measured for pitchers before that date. Mariano Rivera is MLB's all-time leader in regular-season saves with 652, while Francisco Rodríguez earned the most saves in a single season with 62 in 2008.

Hi,
Ive recently moved into a new house and needed to rebalance the radiators in the house as some were cold. Having never done this before I assumed the idea was to get all the radiators at an equal temperature. Firstly I opened all TRV's and lock shields fully, I then used a laser...

Arguably fitting sanitary ware to finished bathrooms is one of the last jobs and potentially the time when things can go wrong.
The cost of broken tiles, chipped finishes caused by incorrect drilling and installation can ruin a brilliant project.
With the tiles on the wall all we need to do...

Is it classed as a 'bodge' or lazy to use an isolating flexi-hose for the water inlet to toilet cistern, I keep seeing these but I've never done it this way myself.
Thanks for any replys.
Good evenings,
I've just been out to quote for a tiling job, which will involve taking the old tiles off and tiling round the new bathroom suite that her son 'fitted'. At the moment there's a Mira power shower fixed to the wall with no tiles behind it, obviously I need to tile behind it but do...
Who here uses pipe freezing kits?
I've never used them (new plumber), are they any good, do they save time and if so is it worth buying the disposable ones or the more expensive re-usable kit? :)
