sealed
"Sealed with a Kiss" is a song written and composed by Peter Udell and Gary Geld. It first became a hit in 1962 for Brian Hyland. The original recording of "Sealed with a Kiss" was by the Four Voices which was released as a single in May 1960 without becoming a hit. Jason Donovan later had an international number one hit with the song.
The lyrics are from the point of view of one of two lovers who have had to part ways over the summer. The narrator promises the lover who has had to leave that he will send his love and dreams in daily letters "sealed with a kiss". The two also bind each other to a pledge, under seal of a kiss, that they will reunite in September.

I have a open flue old boiler (natural draft for combustion) installed on outside wall. Before winters want to install a heat only condensing boiler (room sealed), cannot install it at the current location as it is open to weather effects (rain and sun light in summers).
I cannot install it in...
Any ideas why a sealed system with a combi could be grabbing air. The upstairs rads have air in and the system reads 3 bar cold. When the air is bleed out the system returns to 1 bar or less. It's an ideal instinct boiler basically a logic.
Hi all,
We have a Mira agile/pronta shower mixer valve attached to a tiled wall. It doesn't say in the manual but do you need to silicone around the periphery of the mixer where it meets the tiled wall? Or are they internally sealed or doesn't matter if water seeps into it from splashing etc...
Hi
When my boiler was serviced this year the plumber found the leak as shown in the photo. I was told that the problem may have resolved itself but if not I may need a new boiler. I have three questions please:
1) What has caused this problem?
2) Now I know the problem is there (it's normally...
Looking at a friend's system yesterday. The boiler is refusing to fire and showing a fault code indicating no water flow. The pressure vessel gauge shows a pressure of 1 bar.
I concluded the schematic was roughly as shown here
I'm concerned that
the pressure vessel gauge could still register...
Hello
I have a sealed ch system that I am trying to fit a new 3 way valve (leaking) and a water pump (nocking) in one go, problem is that the two shut off valves at the pump are solid screw type and will not turn even with a large bladed screwdriver so I am stuck.
Looks like my only option will...
Hi there,
Looking at the manual for a lanordica Exflame costanza pellet boiler, it is designed for a 'closed' system - presumably them mean sealed. I've seen manuals for other pellet boilers advising they can be installed on open or sealed systems,
I'm based in ROI but can anyone advise (for UK...
I want to install one of these when converting a vented to sealed system. The only issue being the boiler manufactorys ask for the prv to be fitted on the flow as close to the boiler as possible. However if installing this kit I would need to fit on the return, due to the expansion vessels...
I have a sealed bath that is leaking into my kitchen when emptied, unfortunately the pervious owner has tiled all around the bath without leaving an access panel to the pipework/drain . is their a liquid sealant that i can use to fix the leak or do i have to remove all the tiles . I have tired...

Need to pick a couple of brains whilst exposing my chasm of limited understanding.
Before I qualified, about 10 years ago we had a Dunsley neutraliser fitted, combining a Firebird oil boiler and a Hunter multifuel. Over time we've never really been happy with the set up and have a shower pump...
Hello all,
Seeking any input on a matter that seems to defy logic and common sense.
Sealed system Oil fired boiler (newish) feeding a large farmhouse from an annex with a good quality install/ pump etc that seems to be doing the job.
The system is losing 1 bar per day for a long time. I...
Hello, I am new to this forum and have a question about some old plumbing around a hot water cylinder. The hot water cylinder wasn't used for 14 years and all pipes were drained. Turned the water to the hot water cylinder on and it seems that all joints on the copper tubing around the cylinder...
One of our installers currently fitted a new heat only boiler to replace an old floor standing with gravity hot water. At the time he never fitted any valves or cylinder stat etc so I have been called back there to basically start again. Been there today to do it and found that he had the pump...
I am collecting air in one downstairs radiator which requires bleeding once per week and a small amount on the auto bleed valve on the hot water side of the system. However, there is no pressure drop until I bleed the rad which then drops about 0.1 bar. The system was flushed couple of months...
I have a Zip water heater installed in a cupboard under the kitchen island. There is not normally any discharge into the Zip "font" in the worktop other than maybe a small amount of near-boiling water. The Zip guy accused us of chucking dregs down there, which I categorically deny. There is a...
My girlfriend and I just moved into a new apartment, and the toilet seat is in desperate need of replacing. I didn't think it'd be too much hassle, but I've run into a bit of trouble. The seat seems to be fixed from the bottom, but there's no way to access the bolt as its "inside" the toilet...
Hi from a householder amateur!
I have a saniflow plus for over 5 years. For the last 2 years it "gets blocked" about every 6 months. I then call a guy to fix it. I am aware of what should not be put in saniflow etc.
For the first time - I decided to open it up and investigate. I removed...
