Hi everyone

Been a while, hope everyone is well.

Been to a job tonight, if hw on rads get hot also. Ch 2 port seized open. Lever on valve permanently slack.

24 RI

Another issue seems to be programmer might be working intermittently. Even with ch and hw turned off at programmer, boiler fired up. What else could it be if not programmer?

Thanks

The 2 port. Use your multimeter and chase the voltage to see where its coming from causing the boiler to fire. Sounds like a zone valve fault to me though.

Thanks the ch 2 port has definitely gone I know that much. Hot water coming through as soon as hw turned on.

Thanks for confirming for me. I was starting to over think things as usual and looking for another fault.

The 2 port that needs changing is a myson. 4 wires.

Is this an easy swap for a danfoss or any other.
Thanks

Yeah only difference would be a earth if you change to a metal head ie Honeywell

Only one I could get was a Drayton, is there any difference to the wiring? Thanks

It's 28mm, where does the white go?

Edit: from what I can see it goes in with the live? Is that correct?

Edit again: having another look it's in a terminal by itself as it becomes live when the valve close.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
