Can someone give me a quick lowdown of what i need to plumb in a washing machine?, the fittings etc, i can solder copper and fittings so i should be able to do it, i have tools and am starting to set about getting experience

Do you need hot and cold for washer? for each pipe you will need a T, copper pipe , washer service valve, and for the waste you will need an extension washer sink waste connection

Forget the waste extension, use a washing machine trap with upstand and put it out through the wall if possible, this alternative eliminates the poteneial for horrible gurgling noises when appliance discharges & keeps "your lass" off yer case.!!

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.
