Hi all,
I am after some advice on how to clear an airlock in a coal fired AGA water system.
It has been behaving erratically, struggling to get up to temperature on the mercury thermometer and the body has been feeling too hot (hotter than usual). A friend has suggested that I have an airlock in the AGA tank / jacket. How can I check this? or how do I clear it?

Thanks

It may not be an airlock, it could be lack of water in the system if it is an indirect. Best get it checked.

ok thanks, is directly fed from airing cupboard tank which is old fasioned square type with inbuilt header tank for aga. No headers in roof.
Do I need a plumber or an AGA man?

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
