Apologies for a first post asking for help but..
This is the inside to my bathroom sink popup plug.
The RH section slides into the LH and there is a base and a spring missing.
I need to replace it but I can't even find a picture of one on the net. All current ones seem to have a brass mechanism which looks a better idea but it would be a phaff to replace the waste so I'll avoid it if I can.
Ideally I'd like to replace just this part but would be happy to buy a whole waste if need be - cost dependent.
Any ideas out there?

It's not dissimilar to various RR parts I grant you and equally rubbish in its composition.
Still searching for a replacement if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks
