Hi Guys, im fitting a bath with the jacuzzi jets this week. my customer is supplying the bath, its been donkeys years since i last fitted one of these and cant for the life of me remember wether the jets come pre fitted or not? anyone know?

Ahh Cheers lameplumber, its been over 8years since i last fitted one, i was sure i had to drill the bath out and fit the jets, i just couldnt remember for the lif of me, thanks bud,

you may have had to drill but I've not had the pleasure of having to do that, sounds more like a diy kit!!!!!!!!!!!!1

prefitted, but worth filling outside with water to check for leaks!
Very good and sound advice. Fill the bath up fully with water before installing it. Factory installed attachments often have a habit of leaking and it's better to find out before the bath is installed.

Remember to leave a removable access cover for servicing the pump.

How noisy are these usually, I've got one at home and we never use it as the constant drone of the pump outweighs the benefit of the jets? It wasn't an expensive one admittedly but are they noisy in general?

Everyone I've installed has been very noisy and there's little that can be done to dampen the noise, although I wrapped one in glass wool and it helped a wee bit.

any pump on a sound resonating surfaceie your floor is noisy, but pop the pump on a bit of paving slab with neoprene layer under pump feet goes a long way towards defeating this nuisance. try it if you dont believe me!

Noisy, yes. i used the underlay from the laminate floor and the pump sitting up off the wooden floor on a small wooden plinth. helped a lot
Oh: Pre-fitted on all i have seen. Note that caps inside normally screw on and are interchangable by customer at later date to white or chrome. Caps will fade in colour over years and may also split (over years)

Forgot about this, mines mounted on the bath itself on rubber mounts so kind of suspended. I did think about sound proofing it but thought it may end up cooking. To be honest it's been installed for so long now that I doubt I'll ever use it, prefer a shower anyway 9/10 times! In fact I don't know why I even bothers buying it in the first place.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
