Hi, is there anyone who is an apprentice or trainee with British Gas?
I've done c+g level 2 with BTSC, and now I wanna do level 3 with the NVQ 2+3 as well, but without paying the 3800k that BTSC are asking for.
I've since seen that British Gas are doing these apprenticeship courses. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how long they are, how much money they get, and the quality of the training!

HI Lee, just put a post on the forum, in answer to your question, check out the british gas website, you can apply to train with them as a field engineer for boiler repair and installation, if you can drive and are computer literate this may be the path for you, i know that you have to go back to the classroom environment for about 8 weeks or so but at the end of it you have a good career and you will be using your plumbing skills which we all want to do.:)

It all sounds good but do you have any idea what the qualification is that they offer?

Hi Lee
the guy said there was quite a lot of classroom work so i would expect to be working for british gas they would have to make sure that you would have a gas qualification, did you check out the website, its very informative
