Suppose a boiler change takes more than a couple of days then Croppie?

Some serious grunt there. takes on average the best part of a day to service each individual boiler properly.

By the way, I'm commercial!

Are you sure ? your not just sneaking in & doing a quick service on a domestic ticket are you ? or getting someone to sign off an install ??????? come on you can tell us. :hand:

How much does a boiler like that cost to buy and install?

where would you get them from, are there specialist 'I'm commercial by the way' shops you have to go to, like a commercial parts centre?

im not commercial by the way :)

There are specialist commercial vendors that only specialist commercial engineers are permitted to spin their specialist commercial yarns in.

They are usually found down dark back allies, and run by members of the "mob".

By the way, I'm superman.

Different sort of specialist Orry. we dont talk about that kind of thing! lol

True, but all commercial places I've been to are found down in industrial units you'd never think of visiting.

croppie i think you need to add "By the way, I'm commercial!" to ur sig ! can we get a badge made up for him ??

How many of these have you done gray? I'm an accredited installer for the spira, not fitted any yet though, how do you rate them?

First one mate
Yes they seem good but hard to tell untill it's been running a full year to see what running costs are like

Yeah, they seem pretty good from what i've seen on the accreditation course, although a few bits look a bit 'knocked up together in a garage' stylee. Only thing I was a little bit disapointed with was the sound of pellets tinging down the delivery tube! A bit of heat proof rubber could probably have sorted that.

also, is this the one with the bulk store? How did you find matching up the auger to it and the hopper?

Your not exactly going to have it set up in your utility room
And to be honest it's a bit smelly as well

This was before auger went in
But was not to bad to match just a bit it careful measuring and a kango lol

haha, funny you say that as I was going to fit one in a utility room! Reason was it was a grade 2 listed building and no outhouse, would have required planning to build one so it was a no no. In the end I couldn't do the job (personal circumstances) but still did the course. I've also been to windhager where i did the biomass hetas course and they were almost silent, although when you add up the extra kit they want you to fit, pricey!

it was a big house! to be honest they wanted a 36kw and it was going to be undersized, but seemed adamant on a spira and the 62kw wouldn't have fit anywhere.

I'm in Devon
