Hello everyone

My Mum seen active one heating with the receiver and heating hub (thinking the hub was room stat) for £10 on gum tree and purchased it. They rest of the house is all ready set up with all smart hive equipment.(I know its not the best)

So no Rf room stat.

So my question is what Rf room stat can I fit?
Or, does it have to be Hive if so can get them on there own?
Or am i telling her waste time and to throw it?

Thanks for reading sorry my English is terrible.

Jon

You should have three units with the hive one programmable stat, one receiver and hub
The thermostat is built in programmer

Sorry I obviously did explain it that well. I am missing the programmer.

So wondering if i have to get one form hive?

Can I get one on its own? Or need by the pack?

Or does any other alternative programmer work?

Jon

As far as I’m aware you can’t buy the programmer on its own and the hive won’t link up to any other programmer, the receiver searches for a hive programmer plus when you set up an account it will ask for a hub ID which is on the back of the hub if the hub has been used it will already be linked to another account.
You may have to ring or email hive home and ask the question
