You have always been allowed to claim for the cost of a mobile phone. And for daily sustenance when working away from home.
 
Yes, but if it's a phone used for both work and personal use, you can only claim for a proportion of the cost of it. That said, if I wanted to I could probably claim a proportion of my house as used as an office etc etc, but too busy doing other things to worry about it.

Mira shower mixer adjustment.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THIS MIXER UNIT? WE HAVE TO HAVE IT TURNED ALMOST FULLY ANTI CLOCKWISE TO GET HOT WATEROUT. THE FRONT PLATE WITH MIRA ON IT PRISES OFF AND INSIDE THERE ARE SOME PLASTIC BITS AND A SMALL CROSS-HEAD SCREW IN THE MIDDLE. THANKS
