Hi

Does anyone recognise the make/brand of the radiator valve. It leaks when closed and Iam hoping I can replace a seal etc?

Re Pack the gland under the shield

How do I remove the shield? Are you referring to top half of the chrome bulkhead? Thanks

Yes it unscrews

Undo the big slotted screw ontop of the head control wheel and remove the control wheel

Then use some rubber gloves or a rubber strap wrench or you can use an adjustable spanner on the top flats and the top part of the shield will unscrew you might need to use some grips / pump pliers note this will mark the brass but last resort

Then come back with a picture
