Hi, I'm hoping someone may be able to help!

We are currently getting a loud squealing from our kitchen hot tap whenever the shower is used upstairs. If you turn the tap on it will stop the squealing, however it then will have a constant trickle/slow stream of water from the tap.

It doesn't cause any problems at any other times.

I've included a picture of the tap if that helps at all.

Thanks a lot!

Yes if you can turn the supply to the tap off and have basic tools e.g. Adjustable spanner or grips etc

When you get the cartridge out take it to a merchants to match it , there's plenty variants
