Tru-Blu pipe thread sealant

Has anyone used this, and if so, what are your thoughts? From the descripton it sounds like it should work a bit like Loctite 577, but is loads cheaper. Im wondering if it would be good for rad tails and jointing up male / female irons

I was hoping it would be more like Loctite. Id use jet lube on a compression fitting olive, but never rely on it on its own for male irons, rad tails etc.. Was hoping the Tru-Blu might be more suitable,

If you want a sealant like Loctite 577, have a look at Flomasta Pipe Seal (Screwfix 4373J)

I've been using the Flomasta from SF, it's been fine at a fraction of the cost of 577.

Thanks lads, Ill try the flowmasta stuff, the loctite 577 is bloody expensive so a cheap alternative will be great
