Hey,

I have some water hammer going on when my washing machine fills, so I have bought a water hammer arrestor

Which is all great but when it arrived, it has a massive warning on the back saying that it contains 'cancerous causing chemicals...'. With a bit more research I think that it contains some lead (possibly).

So my question: is this safe to use and fit to my washing machine? I am assuming it must be otherwise it wouldn't have been sold!

Cheers in advance

link to what you bought because normally there just an expansion vessel or a bit of tube with a cap end

At the moment I cant link to it, the forum wont let me

but it was from 'fix the bog' and was their Sioux Chief Mini AA water hammer arrestor

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
