Just wondering does anyone see a problem with the position of the circulation pump it seems it emptys the water from the coil in the tank and the pipe feeding the pump coming from the back boiler stays warm. 😕

Hi. The pump is on the flow/vent pipe. Which is dangerous, If the pump is left to run once cylinder is hot and boiler not producing heat, the water in the cylinder will be cooled down, the coil will work in reverse as the boiler acts as a rad.

Re: Back Boiler Pump Location

Cheers for the replys, the system is fine apart from not circulating the water to the rads it gravity flows around and heats the water and theres no pump over even when pump is running , might lower the pump below the cylinder to see if it helps.

appears to be pumping down, you need a system re jig google y plan

Someone has stuck a pump on the gravity revolves.
Certainly needs a re-jig.
