Hi, could do with some advise on which basin wrench, Im not a plumber but do alot of stuf at home and also others.. anyway im looking to buy a basin wrench whats the best, the more traditional Crows foot? or the newer Adjustable/ changable jaw type? also whats the most common size? 1/2 -3/4inch any advise is welcome, thanks.
 
all plumbers will have thier own favourites I like my old faithful Monument 1/2"and3/4" most common sizes for bath and basin taps good solid bit of kit and wont break the bank regards turnpin🙂

its a fixed crowfoot,mine is a black one got it from pts
 
monument do both mine is adjustable hook jaw type with two jaws 1/2" and 3/4" the crow foot type is also known as a shetack wrench and has fixed jaws ...... somewhere in my kit I also have a 2" jaw for my basin wrench for bath and basin traps not sure if still available . why not have a look on Monument web site regards turnpin🙂
