Gas Engineer
Hi all, I am not a qualified gas safe engineer and still work with experienced engieers, today i had a look in a property whose landlord wants to install a boiler in the conservatory, i think it is ok, but the roof is not glass, only transjparent plastic, the wall is 100mm block wall, will it be ok to install it in the conservatory?

cheers

if its room sealed and you can fit the flue as per MI`s then yeah

yes its fine to install a r/s boiler in a conservatory also would check manufacture's instructions as per requirements for flueing, also would recommened some heating in the conservatory if not make sure a frost stat is installed

And a pipe stat too as if the frost stat operates then heating won't shut down until the room thermostat is satisfied. You would normally be in bed so would be sweating your "so an so's" off by then!
