Hi,

I've got a leak on some pipes buried in concrete. Im re-doing all the pipework into the loft and around but was wondering the best way to drain whats left of any water in the old pipes. I don't think I'm going to be able to just syphon it out.

Cheers for the suggestions.

if your replacing the pipes in concrete ,just cut and run any residue will dry out over time

wet vac, £35 from b and q for a cheap one, then suck it out.

take of the tube from your u-gauge push into pipe, give it your apprentice and tell him to suck. should be used to that anyway so further instruction not required...
