gloworm no hot water

Can anyone help?
Went to look at a glowworm compact 80e which wont heat up hot water unless heating has been on for a while, if heating has/is on then it will run hot cold hot cold, if heating has not been on then does not heat up at all. Ive checked micro switches, diaphagm and replaced diverter valve cartridge and the boiler is no different the pump and fan run and boiler lights up ok. I dont think the heat exchanger is blocked as i do get intermittant hot water if heating is on. Thanks Richard

Hi Richard you need to pm your gas safe details to gas man to gain access to the private gas safe forum. You won't get boiler advice on the open forum.
