Hi I have spent over £700 on trying to sort this out I have a Baxi combi 105he and only get hot water when the heating is on. I have had a new diaphram, new diverter valve, power flush and new cicuit board the engineer said he tested the heat exchanger in is working fine. I do hope somebody can help!

Hi I live in a bungalow and the boiler now 7 years old is in the loft.
Well the first man said it was the diverter valve and left to get one he showed me the old one all gungey but there was water all over the floor. He said the cicuit board had gone and couldn't get it to work at all. he said a new cicuit board would be another £150 I said no way and left me with no heating or hot water. I thought he most likely got it wet so next day went up there with my hair dryer and blew it dry and the heating came back on! so I wouldn't get him out again. The second man said it was the diaphram but it also needed a power flush I knew it needed a power flush so said ok they were here most of the day. I still had the same problem. He said as the cicuit board had got wet it was likely to be faulty. He said I had thrown enough money at it and would be better buying a new boiler. I said no so he left to buy a circuit board he showed me the new one and left me with the old one. As it's in the loft I didn't actualy see them do any of the work except for the flush.
Thanks for your reply

I don't the think the problem is that major there ain't much more left that hasn't been changed but can not discuss boiler related problems/solutions unless you are gas safe registered for safety reasons.

I can only suggest getting someone to look at it, maybe try baxi fixed callout.
£700 is ridiculous, hope you get it sorted
