Having a nightmare trying to source Heatline/line 1m Band B ( metal/metal blue seal) flue ext... dealing with Heatline direct is a waste of time as nobody gives a toss 😡 now they have been discontinued. ( now owned by Vaillant 😱)

Trolled the web and still nowt..

I did not fit the boiler, but just extending flue for builder...

Any help would do....anyone got one in there garage/lock up 😀

Thxs in return Spudhater

sorry ,spudhater, but the only people that can supply ,that I know are heatline themselves
I had to talk to them last year about a flue extension, Dealt with them and were ok,had to wait a week till after thier stock check??

maybe they have caught the vaillant mentality 🙁

imho

So far my local supplier has spoken to them on numerous times ( @60 p min) they sent him to a supplier who has sent atm 1 standard flue band A,1 standard flue Band B.. both items if returned carry a £60 re stocking charge and handling fee of £20..

It was a 1m ext band B which was originally ordered.........my local merchant has now cancelled his account with them and is not paying them for the two wrongly delivered items...

I shall keep searching..................

What`s wrong with " The Bunny" i am an approved "Bunny" installer with ext. warranty, never had any real issues with them..

Spud

Slightly off topic, but how do you become an approved installer and offer the extended warranty?

Graham

Yeah.Went on their course earlier this year. Have fitted 4 since January.

Ref the flue extension is it for a steamer or a standard efficiency type.
Only reason I ask, is that last month my local merchants were virtually giving away GW betacoms.I commented that they look the same as the Heatlines. They said virtually the same.Dont know if GW flue would fit Heatline.

Band B steamer.................. metal/metal blue seal ... GW route has already been thought about, but i need to issue a Safety Cert, it does state only crapline flues should be used as it would effect warranty, but if correct materials of anothers flue were used this would still deemed to be be "safe"...( boiler is out of warranty )

cheers me dears

P.S.

Do you fit Vaillant boilers atm .

Hi Spud
Yeah I am fitting vaillant at the mo.

As for your other thing, not sure , it is one of those very grey areas that us gas guys get caught up in.

Wherabouts you located?I have a GW ext in the garage just gathering dust.

Graham

I`d rather dip my dick in flux than deal with B&Q 😛...........thxs for info though.
