Afternoon All,
So a boring story cut short......I have a Hive dual reciever that I want to connect to a Combi boiler. I have done a weekends worth of research and have come to the conclusion that yes its not the correct way but a few out ther have done it with success... So my stumbling block is how to do it with my boiler... I have a Vaillant ecotec plus 831. (Trying to upload picture of circuit board with little success, but will keep trying)...
I've basically arrived at the following path which I believe will work but I am wide open to anyones input be it positive or a kick in the nuts! 🙂.
Connect L N on Hive to mains.
Connect No4 point on Hive to 230v RT on boiler
Remove Bridge from 24v RT on boiler
It sounds way to simple though and obviously don't want to be melting my board.
Id like to think I'm a decent DIYer just don't want to go guns blazing and get my cowboy outfit on.
Thank you to you all for your time.
Matt
