Hi I'm new to the forum so please bear with me.
I have a baxi back boiler which functions perfectly for hot water only
but will not turn on for central heating.
i can confirm the hot water works by adjusting the cylinder stat to fire or cut out boiler and pump runs ok
but by adjusting the room stat nothing happens.
I have tried various things such as.
Changing room stat and checked at the wiring center and you can get voltage change when room stat shows a demand.
I have tried new electronic and old mechanical room stats visual check of contacts made)
I have changed the programmer with a new one, no change (did like for like)
Could it possibly be the 3way valve?
any help would be very much appreciated
