Hot water only

Hi I hope someone can help?

I've fitted a new thermostatic shower (Victoria Plumb) but it will only output hot water (very hot). The pipe work is new.22mm cold from tank in the loft, hot teed from bath fed from hot water cylinder.
Cold water is definitely getting to the valve. I have flushed the new pipes and cleaned the thermostatic cartridge. The instructions say to turn the cartridge but it is different to the one shown and will only screw in one way.
Any suggestions?

hot and cold pipes crossed? normally hot to the left.

All the pipes are new and go to the inlets marked H & C with hot to left.

You set the cartridge up I the right place and the stops. Should tell you how in the manual.

I think that could be the problem but there is no instructions?

Take the face off, there might be calibration marks on the wheels that are all supposed to line up.

Yes there are marks and they are lined up.
How likely is it that the thermostatic cartridge is faulty?
