Hi, Me and husband were cleaning under the washing machine, and when we went to push it back into place hot water started leaking under the sink, the only way to stop it was by turning the valve horizontal . But now when I turned washing machine on its not getting any water into the machine. I'm scared to turn the valve because it will start leaking again. Please help....

I can't take a pic , just left home. But when I turn the valve the water comes from the hole that I believe should have a tube or cap on it, but I cant see any extra pipes or a cap... On the floor .. mind u , there isn't a lot of room to have a look.

Looks like this?

And leaking from the large thead?

sorry to keep bothering u....but the only hose connecting from the machine is to the cold water valve which is ok. theres not extra hose for hot water. so should there be a cap on it?that might of fallen off??

Just the one hose out of the machine? Make sure the blue valve is turned on and in line with the pipework.

You should be able to get a 3/4" cap from your local plumbers merchant if you want to bang a cap on the unused valve. Some valves come with caps, some don't.
