Intermittent hot water glow worm 30cxi

Help needed please. I have a glowworm 30 cxi the hot water is intermitent. The heating is fine. I have cleaned the DV and flushed out the Plate to plate HE. There are no fault codes showing. On demand for hot water it sometimes works as normal green light comes on and it fires up other times nothing happens. Can I check the flow sensor without removing it? Could it be the PCB? Any way to check the PCB.

I have just checked the motor to the DV nothing happens when hot water turned on also the pin inside moves freely (loose) is this correct?
