Looking for advice on a new shower pump replacment

Hey all,

Let me just say I will probably get a plumber in to do this, but I just wanted to confirm something that I think I already know...

So, our Grohe (low pressure/pumped) shower unit has gone pop, it's old, and Grohe no longer supports it. So time to buy another.

we were thinking of this one - Mira Platinum Valve & Controller (Pumped for Gravity)



Am I correct in thinking this would be the correct model to buy?

And am I correct in thinking this would be a straight swap - in so much as we/me/the plumber could disconnect the 3 pipes (hot/cold/output) and reconnect them to this, wire it and in theory, it should be good to go?

I'm also guessing we would need an electrician to wire this in too, but I have one over next week to wire up my garage so could be two birds with one stone there

Impossible to say without having eyes on your current install.

Aslong as it’s fitted to manufacturers instructions I can’t see why not pay careful attention to pg 15 and 16
