What gas boiler would you recomend

i am pricing a job in dublin at the minute, im not carrying out the gas work going to get a gas safe person to carry out the gas work and commission but i have a few questions

i am not gas safe registered as i stated, but can i pipe the boiler connections to the central heating, hang the boiler and put the flue out etc, and leave the rest for the gas man? ( all the gas pipework and commissioning?

i have to get the gas boiler its going to a system boiler just doing a the central heating and a unvented cylinder upstairs.(have my unvented ticket)
what boiler will i get because i dont want to get rubbish and then no-one will do the gas work for me ( reccomend make and i will size according)

or would a combi gas do, its for a house which will have an ensuite and a main bathroom and a downstairs toilet 2showers no baths or will a combi even be enough if it is what combi would you reccomend??

thanks guys

Cant hang boiler, cant do flue but can drill flue hole lol , no gas pipe work ,can take flow, return ,hot colds near boiler etc .
Work out how many kilowatts of heating you need to judge what type boiler you need .

thanks for the info, would you think a combi would be ok to supply

2 showers
3 wash hand basins
1 kicthen sink

thats what i thought, im not experience with gas boiler;s does it come with a pressure vessel in it for the heating? and is the boiler just controlled with a simple 2 channel programmer if i wanted to fit 2 motorised valves.

thats what i thought, im not experience with gas boiler;s does it come with a pressure vessel in it for the heating? YES AND A PUMP and is the boiler just controlled with a simple 2 channel programmer if i wanted to fit 2 motorised valves.YES

thats brillant gas man, could you reccomend a good system boiler to me, dont want to purchase one that no one wants to install, like an (ideal) heard they are not great.

so all i need is to take two pipe to it flow and return and there is a pump in the boiler and auto bypass>

+ a mains for the quick fill?

baxi duotec system or potterton gold system basically the same boilers

ok baxi duo tec then, any one else any opinions on boilers worth a looking

have you thought about a conventional boiler with all your controls external??
You can install a combi as long as its flow rate is good enough

Combi would manage what you require but as said above needs to be a decent flow rate, valliant for me are the best going, but all installers have there personal prefferances.

a system boiler seems to be a good job with all built in an handy to pipe up. now maybe a silly question.
i will have two myson 2 ports one doing heating and one doing hw only, will have a separte 2 channel programmer like a horstmann or something is that ok to be wired with most gas boilers or do you have to use there controls on the boiler or there add on controls.
i too used to oil boilers

looking at a ecoTEC Plus 624 vaillant it as the btu i require
any experience of this boiler?

Repaired an Eco Tec today. They're not bad boilers, in my opinion, not my favourite though.

can you get a two channel programmer with the eco tec
Vaillant Ecotec Switch 140 2Channel Progammer

seen that on that heat and plumb website could i use that with two motorised valves instead of getting a separte timeclock
