Hi all,
Got a Halstead Ace High with the pin on the primary flow switch not coming out far enough to switch hot water on - haven't got money for a plumber so I opened the switch and placed the mechanism closer to the pin so that it made contact and switched water light and boiler light on when hot water tap running. Despite both lights coming on now the water is still fluctuating between hot and cold, is this because the diaphragm needs replacing? Any help will be much appreciated :detective:

You need a gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register - Site Maintenance or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. If you are gsr please increase your post count to 10+ then send a pm to either Gas man or Redsaw who will then check you and then give you access to the gsr private forum.

Thank you.
