Noisy valve

Hi everybody, am new to this but have just started having problems with CH. System makes load bang when three point valve changes position. Does this mean valve is shot?

Quite possibly mate, it could be the valves internals that are goosed but on the other hand it could be sludge/magnatite blocking the paddle in the 3port body from moving freely. You would hope it's just the valve head obviously as drain down is not reqd but I suppose if the valve body needs changing then it needs changing mate. Try the head first always
