My outside tap won't turn off. It only dribbles but it is a waste so I have switched it off at the mains. What do I need to do to get the handle to turn off as at the moment it just keeps turning and doesn't seem to close whatever it has too?

Hi. You can purchase a new hose union bibcock for just a few quid. They unscrew easily. The only other thing you may need is a roll of PTFE tap, this is wrapped around the thread of the new tap (approx 10 turns) prior to fitting. Good Luck
