Rain water verses grey water

Ever been to a grey water system that smells ,why grey water for toilet flushing,when rainwater is cleaner.
Rainwater harvesting should be the norm on new house build. why waste drinking on toilets and washing clothes.

run my loos on rain water, so water board cant meter me for sewage🙂🙂

Id have thought grey water would smell if left for a time, i think the grey water loo thing is because with it being a toilet it wont be in direct contact with you (recylcling already used water i suppose). Id love to get the kit together to run my loos off rainwater just cant afford it at the mo. i think where i live i'll have to notify the waterboard if i did.
