Hi

I have just a hudson reed concealed shower valve fitted but the shower is awful due to not having a enough water a pressure, so now looking at pumps. can anyone recommend the quietest decent pump available?

Hi Cath and welcome, do you know if you have a water tank in the loft and or what sort of boiler you have? This will help people help you.

you will need to get a decent installer in, they are usually cited in the airing cupboard but they can go in the loft. They are never silent but if well installed they can be an acceptable whirring sound

Thanks Tom

hi yeah i have a cold water tank in the loft and a conventional boiler. i know pumps aren't that quiet but just wanted to know which aren't too loud and are a decent quality of pump.

thanks

Stuart Turner have recommended to me in the past to use a paving slab on top of carpet underlay. Does a cracking job. And yes if you don't have power where you want to site the pump you will need an electrician to put a Power supply in place
