siemans motorised valve

Hi . Newbie on here.
Ive taken the head of a Siemans 2 port valve to change the motor and there was a spring floating about inside un-attatched. Op says nobody was in it before me??. Cant see where it fits back on. Anybody have a drawing.?

Is it still spring returning when you open manually,if not it is the spring that closes the valve
This would not of come off its self unless end snapped off therefore new head required,
If fits on little groove on head, manually lever end and little lug on plate moved by syncron motor
