Evening all, does anyone know who makes Swirl taps. I know they are b'n'q /screwfix but neither seem to stock spares. I need to replace the diverter on a bath/shower mixer but can't find spares anywhere. Any ideas? Will phone screwfix on Monday but not expecting much?

I advise customers against Swirl as I have has several call backs to their taps and shower mixers.

In the past I have supplied them when I have had a customer on a tight budget. Not any more.

On one occasion a shower mixer failed. I rang the helpline which was the Screwfix call centre. They could only offer to supply a replacement. I asked about spares - no chance.

Another case of YGWYPF

Thought this would be the case. I just find it ridiculous that someone can manufacture something but not offer parts/spares. This tap was fitted about a year ago( bought by the landlord ) and I know that they will go for the cheap option again....... Ok I get paid each time but it still annoys me for some reason.

Another case of the going for the cheap option being short sighted.

It looks like a few more quid spent on decent kit would have saved money in the long run.

Some people cannot seem to grasp this, anyway keeps us in work.
