We have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 2.8i junior combi mk. 111 boiler which recently had a water leak and water was sprayed onto the controller panel.Luckilly the power was switched off at the time so I was able to dry out this panel but I forgot to remove the receiver panel and dry this out.On powering up, eventually the boiler fired up ok but the receiver light does not come on.I disconnected the receiver and the boiler worked as normal.Should the boiler work with the receiver disconnected and if so will a new receiver solve the problem? your faithfully phil Collins
